When you suspect screen blinding or screening efficiency lower is caused by charged electrostatically, you need to confirm firstly the fact.
You can check with the manufacturer about whether your output is reasonable for the separated material, machine size and gyratory frequency.
Once you confirm the fact the screening blinding and low screening efficiency really caused by the static. next step is check which condition blinding material clings to the screen or
static is causing the material to agglomerate so that individual particles cannot break loose to pass through the screen openings.
According different condition and adopt different methods:
1. For first condition, you can place metalic foil in contact with the tension ring of the mounted wire and map the ends back over the outside of the gasket.This
electrically connects the wire media to the outside frame, which can then be grounded. With circular vibratory screening machines that use nonmetallic spring supports, the grounding connection
must be made from the free body to the ground
2.If the particles build up to a uniform thickness on the screen wires , you can replace the screen with larger
openings.
3.You can try to adjust the atmosphere temperature in the machine to drain the charge from the particles
4.Another method is mechanical deagglomeration. A radial arm wiper or brushes can be used to break up agglomerates at the screen surface, and allow individual particles to pass
the openings.
